Issue

  • Unable to offline or delete the SVM root volume:

::> vol offline -vserver SVM -volume SVM_root_volume
vol offline: Error offlining volume "SVM:SVM_root_volume". The system could not determine which aggregate hosts volume "SVM_root_volume" in Vserver "SVM".Contact technical support for assistance.

  • Node reports events about the volume missing in VLDB (Volume Location Database):

[Node1: vldb: vldb.aggregateUUID.missing:error]: The volume 'SVM_root_volume' is located on the aggregate with UUID '0babXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXX4df2' which does not exist in the Volume Location Database.
