Issue

  • Attempts to bring a data aggregate online fail with the following error:

netapp0102-a::*> aggr online netapp0102_a_01_data_01
Error: command failed: Failed to bring aggregate "netapp0102_a_01_data_01" online.
Reason: Unable to online the aggregate (netapp0102_a_01_data_01), please check event logs for details.

  • EMS log:
    [netapp0102-a-01: raid.mirror.resync.snapcrtfail:error]: Aggregate netapp0102_a_01_data_01: could not create mirror resynchronization Snapshot copy mirror_resync.1024150804 (netapp0102-a-01) (No space left on device)

    wafl.aggr.rsv.low.nomount: Failing mount of aggregate netapp0102_a_01_data_01. Free space reserve is too low. Contact NetApp technical support for assistance. he complete fix under CONTAP-462675 will eliminate the ems spam. "
