Issue

Client-side df on a qtree with a default or disk quota does not show the provisioned size of the FlexVol/FlexGroup:

Example:
  • FlexGroup provisioned size is 685TB:
[root@host ~]# df -h /mnt/volume
Filesystem                          Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
Cluster01-svm1:/vol/vol1            685T  169T  516T  25% /mnt/volume

  • A qtree within the FlexGroup shows total size as 516TB:
[root@host ~]# df -h /mnt/volume/qtree1
Filesystem                          Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
Cluster01-svm1:/vol/vol1            516T     0  516T   0% /mnt/volume

  • Another qtree in the same FlexGroup shows total size as 564TB:
[root@host ~]# df -h /mnt/volume/qtree2
Filesystem                          Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
Cluster01-svm1:/vol/vol1            564T   49T  516T   9% /mnt/volume
