This article describes the procedure that should be followed to perform Rapid RAID Recovery to copy data from one specified file system partition to a spare partition.

  • The storage disk partition replace command starts or stops the replacement of a file system partition with spare partition.
  • When you start a replacement, Rapid RAID Recovery begins copying data from the specified file system partition to a spare partition.
  • When the process is complete, the spare partition becomes the active file system partition and the file system partition becomes a spare partition.
