Issue

  • The following EMS message is seen:
Wed Sep 27 00:02:05 -0400 [Cluster01-01: scan_tsse_wkr: fp.est.scan.start.failed:error]: Volume footprint estimator scan fails to start on "vol1" - CDE disabled.
  • The event description states the following:
This message occurs when the volume footprint estimator scan fails to start. This might cause footprint data reduction reporting to be inaccurate. But the scan is expected to be triggered again in the next cycle which is likely to be the next day.
