Description

The Monitoring and Alerting Policy Suite (MAPS) is a storage area network (SAN) health monitor supported on all switches running Fabric OS 7.2.0 or later.
Monitoring SAN switches enables early fault detection and isolation as well as permitting performance measurements.

Within a MetroCluster backend only certain options provided by MAPS are supported.
This document walks you through the supported configurations.
The below samples show snmp and email notification (no other actions are currently supported).
Info: The below configuration can trigger alarms during maintenance work.
