System reports "smc.snapmir.frest.clean.fail" error message

Issue

  • The system logs an error to EMS mentioning a snapmirror volume by vol DSID:

smc.snapmir.frest.clean.fail:error]: File restore clean up on volume 'DSID:xxxx' failed with error 'Transfer aborted.'

  • When snapmirror -list-destinations (CLI), System Manager, or SNAPMIRROR.XML in AutoSupport are reviewed, there are no snapmirror relationships for a volume or volume DSID that matches the EMS message.
