SVM DR Update/Resync fails with error: Logical transfer is not allowed to physical mirror volume

Issue

  • SVM DR relationship converted from type DP to XDP while source Vserver contains an offline volume.
  • Whenever the volume got back to the online state, the relationship fails to update or resync with error:
Transfer for volume <volume_name> failed. Reason: Logical transfer is not allowed to physical mirror volume  <vserver_name>:<volume_name>
