SVM-DR failing with "Failed to restart a partially completed initialize transfer"

Issue

  • SVM-DR initialization is failing for a single volume with errors in /mroot/etc/log/snapmirror_audit
  • Transfer failed.(Error in snapdiff(Snapshot being scanned was deleted or recycled))
  • Failed to restart a partially completed initialize transfer, the destination volume must be recreated
  • Offlining/deleting the destination volume, as well as purging the volume recovery queue, were attempted to recover from the failure
  • Multiple attempts of the above steps resulted in the same two errors
