Description

  • ONTAP System Manager 9.12.1 introduces RBAC for File System Analytics, which can restrict certain users from deleting files and directories under volumes from within ONTAP System Manager.
  • By default, any users added to the admin role are allowed to delete files and directories under volumes from the Explorer tab for File Systems and other file system related workflows.
  • The procedure outlines how to add a user to a predefined role or create a custom role to manage RBAC for File System Analytics and prevent admins from being able to delete files from ONTAP System Manager.
