ONTAPI volume-get-iter call fails to return some volume-id-attributes

Issue

  • A backup job in Veeam is not deleting secondary storage snapshots because of a rescan job.
  • An issue with the ONTAPI volume-get-iter call found that it is sometimes not returning all the requested information, like the volume <uuid> tag under <volume-id-attributes>.
  • Volumes without the <uuid> tag are not correctly written into the Veeam database, and their snapshots are not cleaned up.
  • The following error is reported in the Veeam logs:
