  • Yes, you can modify the tiering policy after the volume move has been completed. New data will use the new policy to determine when it gets tiered.
  • Existing tiered data will use the cloud-retrieval-policy to determine whether the data remains in the cloud tier or gets pulled back to the performance tier.
