Answer

Change the NFS TCP maximum transfer size for the Vserver

  • ONTAP 8 (7 mode): nfs.tcp.xfersize

filer> priv set advanced
filer*> options nfs.tcp.xfersize <integer_max_read_size> [-tcp-max-xfer-size: range 8192 to 65536 bytes, default depends on the version, most likely it is 65536 bytes]
filer*> options nfs.tcp.xfersize
filer*> priv set admin

Additional Information

If the configured NFS TCP maximum transfer (rsize and wsize) on the NFS client side, is larger than the configured NFS TCP maximum transfer (nfs.tcp.xfersize) on the NFS server side (Vserver), it fails back to the configured size or default size of the NFS server (Vserver)
