Issue

  • showmount commands fail with the error RPC: Program not registered 
  • In ONTAP, NFS is not configured as a data protocol on the LIF
Example:

::> network interface show -lif test1 -instance

                      Vserver Name: svm3_ontap98
            Logical Interface Name: test1
                    Service Policy: test1
                      Service List: management-ssh
                 (DEPRECATED)-Role: data
                     Data Protocol: CIFS
