Issue

  • Multiple NFS clients are having intermittent NFS access issues to NetApp
  • DNS is suspect from customer POV
Timed out while connecting to DNS server: xx.xxx.xx.xx via Source Address xx.xxx.xx.xx Error: Operation timed out
  • Customer believes there is an issue between clients an NetApp NFS
  • They have it narrowed down to a cloud region us east
  • Customer states clients connecting to DNS do not have an issue
