NFS client experiences high latency access to export volume due to packet loss

Issue

  • The NFS client experiences high latency access to the export volume by NFS, with below errors:
    • [Thu Nov  6 22:25:25 2025] nfs: server abc.xyz.itm OK
      [Fri Nov  7 10:53:11 2025] nfs: server abc.xyz.itm not responding, still trying
      [Fri Nov  7 12:03:13 2025] nfs: server abc.xyz.itm not responding, timed out
  • The client can mount the export volume successfully, but take a long time while copying a small size file to the NFS share.
