NFS client reports error message "autofs_trigger_one: request for /vol completed with error 60"

Issue

  • When highly concurrent write operation, NFS client generates below warning message in NFS client kernel log:

May 27 16:22:39 tbsd-yiyu kernel: WARNING: autofs_task: request 2 for /home/ timed out after 30 seconds

May 27 16:22:39 tbsd-yiyu kernel: WARNING: autofs_trigger_one: request for /home/ completed with error 60
  • NFS client write\read operations interrupt.
  • The warning messages go away when manually mount.
