New NFS mount failing due to maximum connection limit on Node

Issue

  • Clients are unable to mount NFS shares even though over all cluster overall health looks good
  • EMS error message :  ALERT maxCID.limit.exceeded: Number of active data connections is 105449 and system limit is 105449.
  • The event maxCID.threshold.exceeded indicates that the particular node in the cluster is approaching the maximum number of active/open network connections it can support.
