Issue

  • When running "volume flexcache origin show-caches", the output reports stale entries. Example:

Netapp::*> flexcache origin show-caches

  (volume flexcache origin show-caches)
Origin-Vserver     Origin-Volume  Cache-Vserver     Cache-Volume  Cache-Cluster
--------------     -------------- --------------    -----------   --------------

Error: show failed: Notice: Found stale entries corresponding to the msids 2151928129, and 2151928306. Contact technical support for assistance.

  • If you try to run the command flexcache origin cleanup-cache-relationship -force-retry true the job is failing with an error:

Completion: Failed to clean Up origin volume having msid "2147694706" in Vserver "SVM03".

Reason: RAL cleanup incomplete at the origin of the FlexCache volume. Retry the operation using "volume flexcache origin cleanup-cache-relationship -force-retry true"
