NFS datastore does not reconnect when vCenter VM is down

Issue

  • ONTAP Select presents NFS datastore that holds the vCenter Server Appliance (vCSA) that manages the ESXi host.
  • ESXi host has a service disruption (forced reboot) and virtual machines (VM) become powered off.
  • NFS datastore does not present to ESXi host when powered back on so volumes appear missing.
