Cluster update After node reboot: Update is not in "paused" state

Issue

  • After rebooting the machine, or node unexpectedly reboots due to some failure reason with new image but update process seems to be running and not finished.
  • Running cluster image show-update-progress we see the upgrade may stays in the following status but never pauses or completes:
    • in-progress

  • Error messages when trying to resume or pause the update process:
