Issue

  • After adding new HA pair to existing switched cluster using BES-53248 switch, nodes report frequent CLUSTER NETWORK DEGRADED alerts via AutoSupport
  • EMS messages:
[CLUSTER-03: vifmgr: callhome.clus.net.degraded:alert]: Call home for CLUSTER NETWORK DEGRADED: Large MTU Packet Loss - Ping failures detected between CLUSTER-04_clus1 ( 169.254.123.123 ) on CLUSTER-03 and CLUSTER-03_clus1 ( 169.254.234.234 ) on CLUSTER-03
  • Output of system health subsystem show indicates switch health is degraded and system health alert show reports SwitchIfInErrorsWarn_Alert
  • Existing cluster nodes already using the 2 default 40/100G ports and new HA pair is using additional 40/100G ports (with appropriate license)
