Ports do not link up on Cisco Nexus 9336C-FX2 due to TCAM resources

Issue

  • Switch ports 1-10 are already occupied by existing nodes
  • Ports not linking up (in err-disabled state) when adding new nodes using switch ports 11-18 
  • Switch errors logged for affected ports. Example:

%ETHPORT-5-IF_HARDWARE: Interface Ethernet1/13, hardware type changed to 100G
%ETHPORT-3-IF_UNSUPPORTED_TRANSCEIVER: Transceiver on interface Ethernet1/13 is not supported
