Description

  • While installing a Reference Configuration File (RCF) on a Cisco cluster interconnect Ethernet switch, it might be required to have the existing configuration wiped
  • The process to install/upgrade a RCF is specific to each switch model, as documented in AFF and FAS Switch Documentation
  • Cisco documentation outlines the write erase command and this process ensures there is a reachable management IP address after the write erase and reload are executed
