E-Series SANtricity OS upgrade to 11.70.x OS fails on E5700/EF570 with 25Gb iSCSI card

  • SANtricity OS upgrade from 11.40.x to 11.70.x 

Issue

  • While attempting a SANtricity OS upgrade from 11.40.x to 11.70.x on any E-Series system with the 25Gb iSCSI HIC installed, a controller will reboot several times and lock down with OE LU displayed on the back of the controller.
  • The following error messages will be printed in the controller console logs or serial connection:
