Details:

Pre-update Check     Status            Error-Action

Licensing            Error             Error: Software instances on the
                                       following nodes cannot be updated
                                       until valid capacity licenses are
                                       installed on each:
                                       "ONTAP Select nodename".
                                       Action: Contact your sales
                                       representative for the appropriate
                                       capacity licenses, and install them
                                       prior to updating.

  • The command system license capacity show  shows that the Current Capacity is bigger than the Max Capacity
