Applies to

  • ONTAP Select Deploy VM restored from backup
  • ONTAP Select Deploy Capacity Pool license

Issue

  • After restoring an ONTAP Select Deploy VM and regenerating the license with the new License Lock ID, the capacity available in the capacity pool is lower than expected
  • In this state, rebooting any ONTAP Select VMs during this time will result in them being unable to obtain a lease, resulting in an outage
