Answer

  • The following are the only supported methods for migrating OTS node VMs and Deploy VMs to new hypervisor hosts. 
    • VMware ESXi
      • vMotion
      • SvMotion
    • KVM on RedHat Enterprise Linux
      • virsh live migration
  • The method of directly moving to a new ESXi host using export/import is not supported.
