Description

  • This article describes the requirements for deploying ONTAP Select, starting with a minimal Rocky Linux installation.
  • Note: 
    • This article does not explain how to install any Linux distribution
    • Although the steps are tested with the Rocky Linux distribution, they should be valid with any distribution based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
    • The output of any command described may vary depending on the system's current state, the configured repositories, and the versions of the packages available at the time of execution. 
    • NetworkManager has a basic virtual switch capability; however, we will need  a supported solution: Open vSwtich
