Should the CPU Reservations on a ONTAP Select VM be changed?

No. Increasing or decreasing the amount of resources allocated to the VM is not supported.

Does the ONTAP Select VM have a CPU clock speed limitation on the VMware host?
  • No. ONTAP Select VM has no CPU clock speed limitation on the VMware host. 
  • ONTAP Select VM hard reserves the CPU and memory resources only based on the number of CPUs. See ONTAP Select VM properties.
Does the ONTAP Select VM support to modify core clock speed configuration on the VMware host?

No. Modify the clock speed of the cores on the VMware host is not supported.
