Bulk host refresh currently not available for Deploy VM

Issue

  • In a customer environment, the password for vCenter may need to be changed after some time (as per the compliance).
  • Password changes may not be done in Ontap Deploy as soon as the new password changes are applied to the vCenter.
  • Due to this, the host configuration gets disrupted with an authentication error when the hosts call the vCenter where they are registered.
  • As such, the hosts are not properly configured, and a manual refresh is required to be done using the Deploy GUI.
  • As of now, Ontap Deploy doesn't have a bulk host refresh functionality or any CLI commands related to the host refresh.
