Issue

  • The original case was opened for disk transport errors and on investigation FC port 1 on the bridge indicated in logs showed a high number of bridge FC port link failure count, bridge FC port sync loss count and bridge FC port invalid CRC count errors.
  • The SFP in FC port 1 was replaced and most of the the bridge errors and transport errors stopped, however bridge FC port sync loss count list are still incrementing.
  • The switch port and optical cable were replaced but bridge FC port sync loss count list errors are still incrementing.
