metrocluster shows "partially configured" during a transition

Applies to

  • MetroCluster transition (hardware refresh or FC-to-IP)
  • Hardware error detected during transition that required replacement of mainboard

Issue

  • During a transition of the MetroCluster, mainboard of a node has experenced a hardware defect and needed replacement.
  • After successful replacement, the interrupted transistion cannot be resumed as documented with command metrocluster configure as the configuration after the replacement is not consistent:     metrocluster show or autosupport section METROCLUSTER.XML  show state partially-configured
