  • MetroCluster
  • ONTAP 9

Issue

  • Vserver config replication fails with the following error:
Apply failed for Object: aclview_ui Method: baseline.
Reason: failed to set field "cmddirname" to "lun mapping modify"
  • security login role show -cmddirname "lun mapping modify" on the source cluster shows no entries.
  • security login role show -cmddirname "lun mapping modify" on the destination cluster shows:

                 Role                          Command/                             Access

Vserver          Name                          Directory                     Query  Level

---------- ------------- --------- ----------------------------------- --------

vserver-mc       lun_role                      lun mapping modify                    all

  • Deleting all lun commands from the role on the destination vserver does not resolve the issue, the lun mapping modify command is still replicated to the destination vserver even though it does not exist on the source vserver.
