Unable to assign remote disks during MetroCluster IP configuration

When trying to assign the remote disks during MetroCluster IP configuration, an error message similar to the below is displayed:

Cluster01::*> disk assign -pool 1 -owner Local-01 -disk Local-01:0m.i0.7L7        
Error: command failed: Failed to assign disks. Reason: Cannot assign "0m.i0.7L7" from this node. Try the command again on node "Remote-01" (<Sys-ID>).
