Stretch MetroCluster - FCVI driver received IO error

Issue

Error messages similar to the below are observed in the event log:

fcvi.qlgc.receive.error: FC-VI adapter: Received bad frame on port 1b. Mailbox-1 = 4100, Mailbox-2 = 1569. Resetting the port.
 
fcvi.qlgc.qpErr: FC-VI adapter: FCVI driver on port 1b received QP Error. QP name = Control, QP index = 0x1, VI state = Error(state code = 0x3), sub-error = Message ID error(OOD)(error code = 0x6). Remote node's system id = 123456789.
 
fcvi.qlgc.FrameDiscardErr: FC-VI adapter: Discarded a received frame because of a receive frame error. Port 1b, QP name = Control, QP index = 1, exchange ID 0x67, address offset 0x800, remote node's system id = 123456789.
