Node unresponsive and will not boot

Applies to

  • FAS8200
  • AFF-A300
  • AFF-A400
  • Unable to access Service Processor
  • No LEDs active on motherboard
  • If MetroCluster, AUSO triggered at time of failure

Issue

  • A takeover or automated unplanned switchover (AUSO) occurr and this node is completely unresponsive.
  • Node doesn't recover with hard power cycle via a motherboard reseat
  • After a switchover, the Management console and Service Processor are inaccessible.
