MetroCluster IP which RCF version should be used

Answer

  1. Download and launch the RcfFileGenerator for MetroCluster IP
  2. Generate the new RCF as detailed in How to use the RcfFileGenerator for MetroCluster IP
  3. Select the latest RCF version from the RCF Version dropdown.
  4. Check the preview window for any switch firmware version prerequisites.
  5. If switch firmware version prerequisites are met, or are not specified, the selected RCF version can be used.
  6. If switch firmware version prerequisites are not met then repeat steps 3-5 selecting older versions until version prerequisites are met.

Additional Information

The RCF Generator will only generate RCFs for supported configurations.
