FCVI adapter offline after ONTAP upgrade

Issue

  • After an ONTAP upgrade one of the FCVI adapters is reported offline in sysconfig -a:
slot 2: FCVI Host Adapter 2a (QLogic 8324(2672) rev. 2, unknown)
        Physical link:       DOWN
  • The connected Cisco switch port is in errdisabled state:

switchA# show interface brief
fc1/1       10     F      off     errDisabled  swl   --     --     --       --
