ARP mechanism is not working with X50132A adapter

Issue

  1. X50132A adapter card is connected to Cisco switches. 
  2. The MAC address can be seen on the switches but when pinging any device there is no reply.
  3. The ARP table no entry is visible for the controller.
  4. TCPDUMP shows that data is being transmitted but no reply is received
  5. Manually inserting the MAC address allow communication to take place.
