  2. Verify compatibility with IMT and VMware HCL
  3. Backup ESXi config
  4. Test various options for the best solution for your environment
  5. Option a:
    1. Create new LUN and install ESXi then restore ESXi config
  6. Option b:
    1. SVM migrate and recreate new LIF 's
  7. Option c:
    1. Create new SVM and migrate individual Volumes using SnapMirror
