Issue

  • Direct connected Converged network adapter (CNA) behaviour with iSCSI hardware initiator / offload engine and FCoE connecting directly to a storage Ethernet port
  • Several minutes for Ethernet connection to establish and iSCSI sessions to start
  • iSCSI session may drop randomly and may need port up/down to re-establish
  • Unreliable direct attached iSCSI connections
