Issue

  • Previously port was link up and working
  • Switch port SFP and cable has been tested and confirmed to work or replaced
  • CISCO switch port stats indicate errors after using known good switch SFP and Fc cable
Example:
Show interface fc2/10
fc2/10 is down (Error disabled - bit error rate too high)
