Newly added paths do not show up on host end post adding new nodes to the cluster

Issue

  • Two new nodes i.e Node 3 and Node 4 are added to the cluster and volume move needs to be done , however the new paths going to Node 3 and 4 are not visisble on ESXi host end.
  • SLM is configured and reporting nodes are Node 1 and 2, this can be verified using command lun mapping show -fields reporting-nodes.
  • Host is logged in on Node 1 and 2 on NetApp end, same can be checked using vserver fcp ping-initiator show command
  • Igroup is bound to a portset which consists of lifs from the new nodes i.e Node3 and Node4 as well.
