Issue

  • After moving DB workloads to new AFF (from Dell/EMC) RMAN backup 100ms of latency, with throughput being low
  • Oracle Support have collected and reviewed the AWR Report and see throughput is at Host port maximum 8Gbp/s
  • Checking storage performance archive and QoS statistics metrics indicate latency root cause on the network(FCP)
