Cloned volume do not show any data when mounted on host

Issue

  • Cloned volume created from snapshot which were generated using scripts was not showing any data when mounted on the host
  • Cloned volume created from snapshot which were generated manually was not showing any data when mounted on the host
  • importvg command was used to mount the cloned volume on the host
  • When cloned volume is listed on the host, we could see “closed/syncd” with a mountpoint of “N/A”
