  • Yes we can map a single lun to multiple ESXi host in different cluster managed by same vCenter, but below are the considerations:
    • Cluster compatibility: You need to ensure that the clusters accessing the shared datastores are compatible with each other in terms of ESXi versions, Hardware compatibility and configuration
    • Storage Accessibility - All hosts within the clusters must have access to the storage containing the shared datastore. This involves configuring accesspermissions at the storage level for consistent visibility of LUNs or storagevolumes
    • Combining different version or incompatible configurations may lead tocompatibility issues and data corruption can occur
