Description

  • The bucket data is migrated to a new volume while preserving the original bucket name. 
  • S3 clients require no reconfiguration — the same bucket name, endpoint, and credentials continue to work after cutover.
  • The tradeoff is a more complex procedure with a longer cutover window.
