Ontap S3 pull request fails with error 403 forbidden

Issue

  • Redhat Quay tool is unable to (Podman or Docker) pull image from ONTAP S3 bucket and gives the error 403

"Error: parsing image configuration: fetching blob: StatusCode: 403, "<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\"?><Error><Code..."

  • A packet trace in HTTP shows ONTAP replying403  forbidden error
