Windows client unable to map CIFS shares

Issue

  • When trying to map a CIFS share, receive a 'Network Error' indicating Windows cannot access \\<server>\<share> with Error code: 0x80070035.
  • Able to ping LIF from the client.
  • The issue occurs when using the LIF IP address or the hostname as well.
  • Storage-side and client-side packet traces show no traffic sent from the client to the storage when mapping the drive.
